BryanNet

Prerequisites and preparation checklist

Prerequisites and authority

Confirm the installed edition and release. Use the glossary and deployment record before selecting an installation path.

Before installing BryanNet, prepare the host computer, Docker runtime, network plan, license details and any integrations you intend to enable.

Host and software prerequisites

  • Operating system: BryanNet targets Windows and Linux. The exact supported versions and CPU architectures depend on the tested installer release.
  • Docker: The supported Docker runtime must be installed and running before the installer starts. The installer is expected to stop with an actionable message when it is unavailable.
  • Resources: Choose CPU, RAM and storage according to site size, active connections, reporting workload and expected database growth; avoid treating the minimum as a production capacity promise.
  • Access: Administrative rights to run the installer and manage local service configuration.
  • Storage and protection: Durable space for database volumes, backups and logs, plus secure storage for generated secrets and the backup recovery key.

Network preparation

Decide where the BryanNet host will live: on the same LAN as the router(s), on a remote server, or centrally for multiple sites. Ensure it can reach the intended router management addresses securely. If webhooks for payment providers are enabled, plan a stable, secure publicly reachable callback endpoint even when the dashboard is private to the LAN.

Materials to collect

  • Valid BryanNet license and business/organization details.
  • First administrator account details.
  • Router addresses, API account details and intended locations, where available.
  • Domain/tunnel details if public callbacks or remote access are required.
  • Payment-provider test credentials if payments will be configured.

About internet access at installation time

The complete Windows and Linux installer packages include the deployment bundle, release manifest and Docker image archive. Keep these files together after extraction. Local packages are validated before their images are loaded; an incomplete or corrupt local package is rejected rather than silently replaced by an online download. Prepare Docker, Compose and host prerequisites beforehand. Offline installation does not make payment gateways, Telegram or other external integrations work offline. License activation also depends on the verification mode declared by the release.
