Installing BryanNet on Windows
Prerequisites and authority
Local installation authority, a complete approved release package, working Docker and access to the deployment record are required. Preserve existing data before installation/update/removal.
Install on Windows
Use the complete Windows package for the selected release. Extract it into a normal local folder before launching the installer. Keep its manifest, payload and supporting files together. Do not launch a single copied executable from an otherwise incomplete package.
- Confirm Docker is running with
docker info. - Check the downloaded package against the release checksum using
Get-FileHashin PowerShell. Compare the result with the checksum from the approved release source. - Launch the packaged BryanNet installer and grant the local privileges it requests.
- Review the release and destination. The default installation root is
C:\ProgramData\BryanNet. - Choose the deployment mode, confirm the host ports and supply the license information. Local/LAN setup supplies local URLs automatically; configure actual HTTPS origins for hosted access. Preserve generated database and encryption configuration securely.
- Allow payload validation, image preparation, service startup and database checks to complete.
- Open the administrator address reported by the installer and finish the initial setup described in Initial setup wizard and administrator creation.
The packaged graphical launcher is Install-BryanNet.exe. Keep its Install-BryanNet.exe.config alongside it to retain the packaged DPI settings. Source-tree command/PowerShell launchers are not substitutes for the complete customer installer package.
Verify and recover from interruption
Confirm installer success and inspect the deployment using Deployment verification and first login. Keep the installation log if a stage fails. A repeated fresh installation must not generate new credentials over a surviving database volume. Resume through the supported installer path or use recovery when configuration and persistent Docker state disagree.
The installation directory holds configuration and deployment files. The MySQL database uses persistent Docker storage; copying the installation folder alone is not a database backup. Create and verify an encrypted backup before admitting production customers.
