First-deployment walkthrough and success checklist
Prerequisites and authority
Confirm the installed edition and release. Use the glossary and deployment record before selecting an installation path.
The first deployment has two stages: installing the BryanNet services, then completing initial configuration in the administrator interface. Finishing the wizard means the dashboard is ready for management. It does not yet mean customers can access the internet.
Stage 1: install the platform
- Confirm the Docker runtime is installed and running.
- Obtain the correct Windows or Linux release archive from an approved BryanNet download.
- Run the supported installer and follow its instructions. The installer installs the relevant services, configuration and persistent database volume.
- Open the administrator setup page indicated by the installer.
Do not invent executable filenames, flags or URLs from an earlier build: the operating-system install guides supply those details for each verified release.
Stage 2: complete initial setup
- Review licensing already completed by the installer and finish activation only if the setup interface requests it.
- Create the first administrator account.
- Enter business/organization details requested by the initial setup interface.
- Complete setup and confirm the administrator dashboard loads.
Stage 3: make the installation ready to serve customers
- Prepare the network and compatible MikroTik router.
- Add the router in BryanNet; check management connectivity and any prescribed Desired State configuration.
- Create an appropriate access plan.
- Configure a customer-facing interface that is available in the installed edition.
- Set up a payment provider if online purchases will be accepted; use provider test mode before live mode.
- Register a test customer; assign or purchase a plan; verify subscription activation, router provisioning and actual internet access.
- Configure backup and health-monitoring routines before production launch.
