Manage subscriptions, devices and active sessions
Prerequisites and authority
Use an individual staff account with the action permission and required organization module/license. Viewing a menu does not establish permission to mutate records.
Manage entitlements and connections
Subscriptions, devices, customer application sessions and router internet sessions represent different records. A website logout does not by itself establish that a hotspot connection ended.
- Open the customer and review active and queued subscriptions.
- Confirm plan, validity, quota and activation order.
- Use supported assignment or subscription controls for the intended change.
- Inspect provisioning outcome and router access.
- Review devices and active connections separately.
Ordinary purchases queue behind an active subscription, with duration beginning at activation. Administrator grants/imports may specify explicit dates. The inspected service preserves explicit dates during activation; the interface and business policy for those grants must be reconciled rather than concealed in the customer renewal guide.
Blocking a device denies new admissions and requests disconnection of that device's sessions across managed routers; it does not disconnect the customer's other devices. If a router cannot be reached, disconnection cannot be guaranteed immediately: retain the failure/pending evidence and verify reconciliation when connectivity returns. Removing a device, revoking a website session and disconnecting a router session are different operations. Unblocking permits future admission; it does not itself create a new router session.
For a concurrency complaint, inspect sessions across all applicable routers. A per-router view can miss a customer's second connection elsewhere. Keep unlimited device replacement distinct from the simultaneous-connection limit.
Verify every change with a customer test where appropriate. Do not repair an entitlement by manually editing its status in SQL. Use Purchase a plan and understand activation/04/05 and Device blocking and global session limit issues for detailed workflows.
