Payment succeeded but internet did not activate
Prerequisites and authority
Start with read-only checks and authorized records. Capture evidence before changes. Stop and escalate when data replacement, financial changes or wider outages are possible.
Payment succeeded but access did not activate
Preserve the payment reference and do not ask the customer to pay again as the first remedy.
Basic
Check the provider result and stored payment. Inspect the linked subscription. A new plan may legitimately be queued behind an existing active entitlement.
Intermediate
Trace callback processing, payment verification, subscription creation/activation, provisioning operation and router account. Keep economic status and provisioning status separate. Compare the intended plan/customer with the stored links.
Advanced
Check provider delivery timestamps and bounded API/payment-worker logs. Use approved read-only queries to confirm missing transitions. A unique payment reference is helpful but does not demonstrate full webhook idempotency.
Repair through a supported verification/provisioning retry after fixing the dependency. Do not delete the payment, grant an untracked duplicate subscription or mark success directly in SQL.
Verify exactly one intended economic outcome, the correct active/queued entitlement and actual hotspot access when eligible. If provider and application disagree, stop manual adjustments and escalate with references, statuses and operation errors.
