Configure organization, locations and relevant modules
Prerequisites and authority
Use an individual staff account with the action permission and required organization module/license. Viewing a menu does not establish permission to mutate records.
Configure the organization and locations
Use Settings → Organization Profile to review organization identity and relevant operating modules. Use Locations for the physical areas represented in BryanNet. Module selection shapes the interface but is not a substitute for permissions or license entitlements.
- Confirm business name, contact details and operating timezone.
- Select only the organization options relevant to the deployment.
- Create or review locations using recognizable site names.
- Associate routers with the correct location where the workflow supports it.
- Verify staff navigation and customer sales/access flows after saving.
A location is an administrative grouping. It does not prove network reachability, internet availability or a customer restriction to that location. Multiple routers can belong to one location, and the approved roaming target allows a customer to use managed routers across locations.
Changing organization type or modules can affect public plans, payments, identity requirements and integrations. Capture the previous configuration and inspect the changed interface. Do not assume existing subscriptions are cancelled or reassigned by the change.
Keep a site inventory containing location name, routers, management subnet, internet source, technical contact and connectivity method. Internet sources and multi-site network topology covers the physical design. Exact editable organization fields and module transitions require final UI verification.
